OBITUARY: Photos From European 'Full Of Hate' Tour Posted Online

Brand new photos of Florida death metal legends OBITUARY taken during their recently completed European "Full Of Hate" tour with AMON AMARTH, LEGION OF THE DAMNED and KEEP OF KALESSIN can be found at Obituary.cc.

Commented OBITUARY frontman John Tardy: "We really want to thank all the fans for coming out this tour and showing us so much support! This has been a great time for all of us and we owe it all to you! We also want to thank the guys in AMON AMARTH, LEGION OF THE DAMNED and KEEP OF KALESSIN! Three great bands that it was a pleasure touring with and I hope you all keep in touch. Lastly, all the crew guys that worked so hard to keep everything going smoothly, we appreciate all of you, especially Peter, who we could not do without!"

OBITUARY will release a new concert DVD, tentatively titled "Live Xecution In Bad Berka 2008", in June via Regain Records. The footage for the disc was filmed at last year's Party.San Open Air festival, which was held August 7-9, 2008 in Bad Berka, Germany.

Commented Frank Watkins: "We did over 30 festivals last summer and the Party.San festival was the very last and best one for OBITUARY... Fortunately, the show was filmed."

OBITUARY recently completed work on the band's new album for a tentative May/June release via Candlelight Records. Vocalist John Tardy stated, "It came out really sick and I cannot wait for you guys to hear it... it is heavy!!"

The band once again worked with artist Andreas Marschall, who previously created the art for "The End Complete", "Frozen in Time", and the group's last record, "Xecutioner's Return".

Guitarist Ralph Santolla previously said about the new material, "The new stuff is HEAVY, some of my favorite OBI riffs yet. Trevor's [Peres] guitar sounds huge and menacing. If you like OBITUARY, you're gonna love this record."

OBITUARY last year released the "Left To Die" EP via Candlelight Records. The CD contains four songs: two new originals, a new 2008 studio recording of "Slowly We Rot", and a cover of "Dethroned Emperior" by CELTIC FROST. The EP also includes the band's popular "Evil Ways" video.
